THE MAHAFFEY THEATER
ROUND 1
ABOUT
The first two event days take place in our Primary Host Hotel, Hilton St. Petersburg Bayfront. Be sure to book your sleeping rooms early! The Hilton is the Official Location for Round 1 and is directly across the street from The Mahaffey Theater. Round 1 is a unique opportunity to work with and be seen by the evaluating panel members comprised of school & company directors of major ballet companies. CHECK-IN
Check in times are assigned per division group, and are always 1-2 hours prior to the group's first scheduled class. There will be no check-in period on
March 27. Each soloist is to pick up their welcome packet by competitor number, outside the Grand Bay Ballroom.
BALLROOM SPACES
Round 1 Classes take place in the Hilton's Grand Bay Ballroom and the St. Petersburg II & III Rooms. All spaces equipped with Marley Surfaced floors. The Grand Bay Ballroom is equipped with a professional grade sprung floor. Round 1 is only open to participants & VIP pass holders.

Limited times available to rent. 3/28 - 4/2 Hilton Ballrooms.
How to Book Space:

When Registration Opens, you will see an option to reserve rehearsal space at bottom of application.

Select a Package of Hours, Between 1 - 2 hours. Larger blocks of time will not be offered due to limited time availability.

Month prior to event, after schedules post, please email or online live chat us to book your time slot. Available slots will be denoted
on event schedules.
* Hours booked do not need to be consecutive, and may be spread over the course of several days. 30 minute blocks not permitted.

ABOUT
The beautiful Mahaffey Theater is the Official Live Performance Venue for Round 2 and the 2020 Awards Gala. THE MAHAFFEY is a 2,031 seat theatre featuring elegant space, spectacular waterfront views, and European box-style seating. In the middle of the culturally vibrant Downtown and minutes away from white sandy beaches and world-famous museums, The Mahaffey hosts top-quality national and international artists and performances.
