2025 FINALS INFORMATION

ROUND 1 TUTU RECOMMENDATIONS

The Round 1 Variation for ALL Soloists is selected by the ADC IBC Organizing Committee, and is announced on site, not prior to the competition. This variation is taught and rehearsed at the competition and performed on the Mahaffey stage. Dancers are recommended to bring a practice tutu with them to Finals. Below are the styles of the selected variations.

Primary Division Females: Romantic length practice tutu is recommended.

Junior Division Females: Classical, flat plate practice tutu is recommended.

Senior Division Females: Long ballet skirt. Under knee to mid-calf length is the most accurate to variation.

*Tutu is not required. These are recommendations put forth based on the style of variation that has been selected for the First Round of the Competition. Any color may be used.

ATTIRE TO BRING IF SELECTED FOR CONTEMPORARY PREMIERE & CLASSICAL REPERTOIRE

Participants learn repertoire on site, audition, rehearse, and perform together in the Final Round Gala Performance on April 4. New this Year, dancers will have the opportunity to be selected to perform both styles of dance in the 2025 Gala.
All Finalists, please bring the following with you to the competition, in the case you are selected to be a part of these pieces.

CONTEMPORARY

Females: White leotard. White tights. White socks.

Males: White or Light Gray Tights. White socks.

CLASSICAL

Females: White classical, flat plate practice tutu. White leotard. (For Paquita Rep). Applicable to JR & SR age. Junior will already be utilizing a classical tutu for their Compulsory variation. Senior ladies, please make note to bring a classical style practice tutu along with your ballet skirt for compulsory.

Males: Black Tights & White Tee Shirt.

Participants do not need to purchase tickets of any kind. All is included with participation.
Teachers, you will need the VIP Pass, which is purchased through ADC IBC, not the Mahaffey Box Office. If you did not do this during registration, you will be able to at the ADC check-in Tables at the event. Vip pass also includes a ticket for the Final Round & Gala.
Parents & Guests if you purchase directly from the Mahaffey Box Office as a walk-up, you can bypass the online Ticketmaster fees. If you arrive outside of Box Office Hours, you can purchase online, and receive your tickets via email immediately.
